Inside the platform the Pricing Calculator saves your analyses, recalculates everything when you edit the price by hand, works in US dollars to sell in another country and exports a PDF report. It does not use credits.
Use the full calculatorHow does this calculator set the price?
It finds the price at which, after paying for everything, you keep exactly the profit percentage you asked for. "Everything" means:
- Product and shipping for each order.
- Advertising (CPA): a share of the price you set aside to get each sale.
- Expected losses: with cash on delivery, orders cancelled before shipping cost you the ad spend, and returned orders also cost you the shipping. With prepaid sales, chargebacks and the payment processor fee are what weigh.
- Your monthly fixed costs, spread across the orders you sell.
Then it rounds the price to a retail-friendly number (for example, ending in 99 in US dollars) and keeps the rounding that lands closest to your target profit.
What do the results mean?
| Result | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Suggested selling price | What to charge to earn your profit % with the costs you entered. |
| Target CPA | The most you can pay in ads per sale and still earn your %. If your real CPA is higher, you earn less. |
| Target ROAS | How many times your ad spend has to come back as revenue to hit that CPA. |
| Break-even ROAS | Below this ROAS you lose money on every sale. |
The 2- and 3-unit prices reuse the 1-unit CPA, because acquiring the customer costs the same even if they buy more. That is why the price per unit drops and bundles make sense.
Why is the cash-on-delivery price higher?
Cash on delivery has losses that prepaid sales don't: cancellations and returns that leave you paying for ads and shipping with no sale. With Colombia's typical values (15% cancellations and 30% returns), a product that costs 35,000 COP comes out at 167,900 COP with cash on delivery and 124,900 COP prepaid with the same 15,000 COP shipping. Cutting returns from 30% to 20% lowers the price to 151,900 COP, which is why reducing returns is worth more than almost any ad tweak.
FAQ
Is the calculator free?
Yes. This version is free and needs no sign-up. The full version inside Ecom Magic doesn't use credits either; it adds saved analyses, manual price edits and a PDF export.
What values are used if I leave fields empty?
The typical values for the country you chose: shipping, ad share, profit, returns, cancellations and fees. They are a starting point; replace them with your own numbers to get a real price.
Which countries does it support?
36 countries across the Americas, Europe and Oceania, each in its own currency, for both cash on delivery and prepaid sales.
Does the price include taxes?
No. The calculator does not add VAT or sales tax. If you charge them separately, add them to the final price or include them in the product cost.
